J&A Engaged Part 2

Hello again everyone,

We just returned from visiting my sister. She took us to a great little town in the far west suburbs, called Woodstock. The weather stunk, so we are going back when it is better out so we can get some nice pictures. This town reminded us of our Engagement photo shoot from a few weeks ago, so we decided to post a few pictures from that great day. Enjoy

After the photo shoot A&J asked us if we could take some additional photos at their wedding over the summer. Hopefully I can get some time off of my real job, and do it.

That is it for now, until next time, keep that shutter running!

Latest Wedding Pics from the DoubleTree

Good evening everyone,

This entry is from a wedding at the Hotel last week. I only had a few minutes to take some pictures, so I figure I could do my best in a rushed manor, and Nikki would do her magic. I think she did a great job.

One of the downsides of the holidays is that there are very few weddings. I miss the excitement of those night. I never thought I'd say that, but I can't wait for the weather to turn, and weddings come back to the hotel.

That is it for now, until next time, keep that shutter moving,

J&A Engaged

Hello again,

It has only been a few minutes since our last post, but I couldn't wait to do another one.

This next post is from our first engagement shoot. We did this shoot at the Hotel Baker and Potowatomi Park in Saint Charles, IL.

It was a special day for us as well, it was the 15th anniversary of date we got engaged down in Amelia Island, FL. Stay tuned for those pictures. Don't know when they are coming, but we will get them eventually.

Anyway back, to J&A's fun day, please enjoy

What a fun shoot! We took over 800 pictures between the three cameras. They were a great couple, and we had such a good time as well.

Again stay tuned and check back to the design tab of the blog for more of Nikki's creations.

Until next time, say yes when he asks, and keep that shutter moving!

My First Wedding

Good evening everyone,

This is the first of two posts tonight. It has been a busy couple of weeks. We did our first wedding and first engagement shoot. All within a week of each other.

The first post is from my very first wedding. Hope you enjoy.

It was a fun afternoon, and a good way to get my first wedding under my belt. I have worked so many in Banquets and Operations that it was nice to finally see one from a new perspective.

Be sure to come back soon and check out Nikki's artistic takes on some of our favorite photos from the wonderful day. You can see them in the Design section of our blog.

Until next time you see me in the aisle, keep that shutter moving

Cooks Champagne around the Country

Good evening everyone,

This latest entry is just the start of a recurring project we are going to start. We are calling it Cooks Across the Country. And away we go.

We were introduced to Cooks out in Manzanita Oregon. We were never big Mimosa fans until this trip. We learned the proper ratios of Champagne to OJ. Remember Orange Juice is only for color. Ever since this trip, it isn't a trip until the Cooks comes out.

The latest mimosas were at the Inn at Aberdeen Valparaiso, Indiana. A great little B&B in the heart of the Midwest. We went there the day after Thanksgiving, and the place looked great. All decked out for the Christmas

Stay tuned for more Mimosas, and memories.

Until next time, keep that shutter moving and corks popping.

Carved Creations

Good evening everybody,

This entry has to do with some of the great statues that we have seen around the country. From Green Bay Wisconsin to Savannah Georgia. Hope you enjoy!

I know we are from Chicago, but I couldn't help but snap this picture while working up in Green Bay. It is a great stadium, and I was lucky enough to work there for three home games a few years ago. Great facility and great town. Can't wait to go back to visit. Good times.

We took this picture at one of favorite Bed and Breakfasts we have ever stayed at. We were in Saugatuck, MI at the Twin Gables. Great B&B, great getaway.

We hope you enjoyed this latest entry.

Until next time, keep that shutter moving.
