Thinking of Michigan Again

Greeting again,

On the way in to work today I heard the Pure Michigan Commercial about Traverse City. It is such a cool little town that we happened to stumble upon a few years back. We've already put a few pictures up, but I wanted to add some more. It was meant to be a stopping point on the way to Mackinac Island, but as we found out it is just so much more. The water was so blue it looked fake. Can't wait to go back again and spend some more time there. So please enjoy a few shots from the Traverse City.

In the Traverse City area there are a lot of Wineries, and at the end of the Leelanau Penninsula we found the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. The grounds are incredible, and the windswept coast is unforgetable.

We were there during thier annual Tall Ships Festival. Great little activity they put on.

I told you the water was so blue it was almost fake.

I was trying to get artsy on this shot. I liked it.

That is it for now, just a little posting to show off a little more of Traverse City.

Take care, and keep that shutter moving.

Joe and Nikki
