Valparaiso Getaway

Good evening everyone,

This was a little surprise trip, full of surprises. We had never been to Valparaiso, and we were very happy with what we found. The downtown was really quaint as you can see from the pictures below.

Nikki had found these two little French bistros downtown, and we went to Bon Femme Cafe for lunch. We had a lot fun, and have the pictures to show it.

Joe found this sweet little B&B just outside of downtown. The Inn at Abberdeen, was a everything we look for in a B&B.

Our room wasn't ready so we opened up a bottle of wine and talked about our trip to Paris while sitting in the Gazebo. A pretty good way to spend the afternoon.

We stayed in the suite in the upper left hand corner of the B&B. The Abberdeen Suite, the original master bedroom. The accomodations were incredible!

Here is us having a little fun, isn't she a cutie?

The Inn was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. We had such a great time taking pictures, and just exploring all the different rooms that they had all decked out.

If you look closely, you can see us in the ornament. One of the few pictures of us on the trip.

We decided to go back downtown, and go to the other French Bistro that Nikki had found out about, Bistro 157. The downtown looked great all lit up.

All in all it was a great get away. We were gone a little less than 26 hours, but it was great nonetheless. Great food and great company in a town that we had never even thought about before.

Stay tuned for more pictures to come, and until then keep that shutter moving!

Joe and Nikki
